Introduction: Associate Professor Piyapatr Busababodhin is currently serving as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science and holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Mahasarakham University. With a dedicated career spanning over 25 years since he joined the university in April 1998, he has established a distinguished record in both teaching and research. His scholarly work has garnered a total of 410 citations, with an h-index of 12 and an i10-index of 14, reflecting his significant academic influence. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at Mahasarakham University, followed by a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics at Thammasat University, and earned his Ph.D. in Applied Statistics from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. To further deepen his expertise, he undertook postdoctoral research in Applied Statistics at Chonnam National University in South Korea. His research focuses on cutting-edge areas of applied statistics, including extreme value analysis, copula modeling, statistical modeling, hydrological analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).

Introduction: Dr. Zhang is currently a Lecturer at the Information Support Force Engineering University and holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Chonnam National University in South Korea. With extensive research and practical experience spanning both academia and industry, her work focuses on multivariate statistical analysis, machine learning, explainable artificial intelligence (XAI), and time series analysis, which she has successfully applied to cutting-edge fields such as financial risk modeling, medical image analysis, and environmental big data analytics. During her tenure as an Assistant Researcher at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, she led the development of an explainable AI framework for medical diagnostics. She also previously served as a Senior AI Engineer at CECEP Tianrong Technology Company, where she contributed to the development of the "Smart Yangtze River" ecological and environmental big data platform. An active researcher, Dr. Zhang has published multiple papers in SCI/ESCI-indexed journals and has led or participated in several institutional and national-level research and educational reform projects. Additionally, she is proficient in R and Python and possesses professional working proficiency in Korean. Diligent, passionate, and committed to interdisciplinary collaboration, she is a well-rounded professional with strong theoretical expertise and practical problem-solving skills.
