ISTAER is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to breaking down traditional disciplinary barriers. We champion deep interdisciplinary collaboration by requiring that all research—regardless of its field of application—is built upon rigorous quantitative, computational, or science/engineering methodologies.

Key Methodological Requirement
With the sole exception of Economics & Management (which may use rigorous empirical analysis), ISTAER does not accept purely theoretical, descriptive, or qualitative-only studies. All submissions must feature clear science/engineering methodologies, such as:

Algorithms, models, simulations

Machine learning, deep learning, computer vision

System dynamics, multi-agent systems, digital twins

Quantitative data analysis, computational experiments
